I can’t stand when people change their music, movie, television, book, hobby, etc tastes just to impress someone else. Just to be a coward. It’s great to have things in common with people, but you don’t have things in common with someone when you change whatever you like or dislike based on who you’re talking to.

Be yourself. If you can’t be yourself, why would you want someone to invest themselves into something that isn’t real? That’s cruel. Faking it won’t get you anywhere and it all looks like bullshit anyways.
